Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luther West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Kernes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kernes comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Reign Supreme - Persevere And Overcome kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jay Kernes told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kernes shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. West is trying to defend but Kernes finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
West looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Kernes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. West swivels though and keeps the full guard.
West wants to get back to his feet but Kernes passes into half guard.

Jay Kernes comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kernes has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
