Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doe kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Lux Aeterna. The crowd seem to be enjoying Coleman's choice of entrance music: We right here!. John Doe could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mark Coleman's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Doe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 14 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Coleman!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman checks the leg kick.
Doe swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Doe throws out a leg kick but Coleman moves out of range and Doe only half commits.
Sloppy strikes from Coleman. Those never looked like landing.
Doe lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Coleman circles away quickly and effectively.
Doe scores with a head kick.

Coleman shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Doe manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Doe is trying to control the position but Coleman postures up.
Doe will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Doe is looking to sweep but instead, Coleman has passed into half guard.
Doe makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Doe.
Coleman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Doe swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Doe manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Doe unloads with some shots from mount but Coleman bucks and avoids them well.

Coleman sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Coleman is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Doe pulls his head out easily.

Coleman is pulling down on Doe's head. It's preventing any offense from Doe, at least for the moment.

Doe looking to sit in guard and control but Coleman gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Doe knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Coleman on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

John Doe has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Coleman shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Doe's guard.
Doe has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Coleman has passed into side control.
Doe tries to improve position but can't.
Coleman throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Coleman connects with a nice short shot to Doe's temple.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Coleman stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Doe.
