Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinny Veechi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Souza comes to the cage accompanied by AC/DC - Highway To Hell. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veechi lands a body shot.
Veechi scores with a punch to the head.

Souza shoots in but no luck this time.
Veechi slips a jab and a cross from Souza.
Souza misses with a few strikes there.
Veechi works over Souza's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Thiago Souza has been cut.

Souza takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Veechi buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Souza takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Souza walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Souza moves forwards but Veechi connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Veechi thuds a left hand into Souza's body.
Veechi lands a right hook to the body.
Veechi lands a jab-cross combination.
Veechi bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Souza's head.
Thiago Souza's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Veechi swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Veechi dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Souza. That did some damage!
Souza takes a jab right on the kisser.
Veechi is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Souza had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Veechi lands a right hook to the body.
Veechi darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Veechi, right into the meat.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Souza. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Veechi.
Veechi swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Veechi throws a leg kick which misses Souza's front leg but catches the back leg as Souza tries to avoid it.
Veechi uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Veechi dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Souza takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Veechi cracks a nice hook into Souza's ribs.

Jeez, Thiago Souza's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Souza is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Veechi chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Souza looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Veechi looks to land a combination. Souza sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Veechi tests Souza's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Veechi is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Souza takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Souza takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Souza tries to move into range but Veechi moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Thiago Souza's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
