Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Viet Cong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cru Jones!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cong displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jones.
Jones keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Cong moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Cong misses with the combination.
Jones shoots in and drives through. Cong sprawls well.
Jones tries for a takedown but Cong sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Viet Cong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cru Jones.
Cong lands with a kick to the temple. Jones shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Cru Jones has been cut.
Cong throws a nice inside leg kick.
Jones looks gassed!
Cong connects with a right hand. Jones shakes it off.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A punch combination from Cong misses.
Viet Cong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cong pushes Jones up against the cage in a clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee calls for Cong to work.
Cong seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.
Cong lands with a left to the head.
Jones changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Cong fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Jones is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cong sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Jones has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Cong finds it's way round the side to connect with Jones's head.
Cong lands with a cross.
Cong connects with a single shot there.
Jones is trying desperately to land a takedown but Cong is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Jones.

Cong lands a left and a right that send Jones crashing to the mat, dazed. Cong thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

That has opened up Cru Jones's cut even more.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cong cracks Jones with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Jones falls to his knees and Cong doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Viet Cong!
