Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paulo SIlva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
SIlva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Evans's waist but Evans gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing SIlva off to one side.
SIlva closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Evans did well to prevent SIlva getting side control.
SIlva looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
SIlva seems to be working for a kimura but Evans defends the submission attempt.
SIlva is working for a kimura here but Evans manages to reverse the position and he's now in SIlva's guard.
Evans lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Evans stands up over SIlva, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
SIlva looking for a guillotine here but Evans defends easily.
SIlva has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Evans can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Evans throwing strikes but missing.
Evans is sitting in close to SIlva's body. SIlva has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Evans is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Evans is tapping! That was a very nice submission by SIlva.
