Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alex Escobedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Victor Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Escobedo comes into the arena with EL PECADOR blaring out of the sound system. Thiago Victor Dos Santos acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escobedo fails to land the takedown.

Dos Santos leaves Escobedo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Escobedo throws a push kick but Dos Santos slaps the foot to one side.

Escobedo slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Escobedo is looking for a kimura but Dos Santos is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Escobedo to get the leverage.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dos Santos can do anything to dispel that myth.

Escobedo has hold of Dos Santos's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Dos Santos seems comfortable defending it but Escobedo has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Dos Santos is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Dos Santos is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Escobedo couldn't care less - he's delighted!
