Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liljestrand tries to clinch there but Cyde circles away.
Cyde tries for a takedown but Liljestrand sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Liljestrand misses with a body kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A head kick from Liljestrand lands but Cyde takes it in his stride.
Liljestrand scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Cyde shoots for a double leg takedown but Liljestrand sprawls well. He's pushed Cyde's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Cyde changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Liljestrand tries to avoid it but Cyde manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Liljestrand to the ground. Liljestrand escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Micheal Cyde. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Liljestrand is looking to clinch.

Cyde shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Liljestrand as he jumps to the side.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Liljestrand thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Cyde if he has to take too many more of those.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Liljestrand leaves Cyde with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Cyde avoids a kick to the body.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Cyde will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Liljestrand squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Liljestrand is controlling an arm, preventing Cyde from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Cyde won't let Liljestrand get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cyde has control of Liljestrand's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Liljestrand regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Cyde looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
