A fine choice. Ninja is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Afro Ninja. Mason Simpson has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ninja scores with a nice right hand.
It looks like Mason Simpson has been cut.
Simpson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ninja sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Simpson somewhat.
Ninja connects with a single shot there.
Simpson misses with a takedown attempt - Ninja sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ninja keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mason Simpson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A punch combination from Ninja misses.
Simpson shoots for a takedown but Ninja saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ninja connects with a good right hand that stumbles Simpson. Simpson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Ninja swats away the attempt to clinch by Simpson.
Simpson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ninja pinned against the cage. Ninja gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ninja ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Ninja jabs Simpson right on the nose. Simpson blinks but takes it well.
Horrible takedown by Simpson or perhaps it was just good defense by Ninja which made him look bad.
Simpson is breathing heavily.
Ninja throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Ninja connects with a jab.

Ninja throws a right and a left that Simpson avoids nicely.
Simpson forces Ninja back against the cage and clinches.
Simpson is looking to break free of the clinch but Ninja has double underhooks.
Ninja presses Simpson against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Ninja breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ninja keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
A jab from Ninja finds it's way through Simpson's defenses.
Simpson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ninja lands with a cross.
Mason Simpson's cut is getting worse.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Simpson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Afro Ninja seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ninja connects with a body shot.
Simpson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Ninja scores with a punch to the head.
Ninja throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Simpson stumbling backwards into the cage! Simpson bounces back off the cage towards Ninja, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Ninja lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Ninja celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
