The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie looks to score with a jab to the body but Kolari is just out of range.
Gracie pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Kolari moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Kolari lands with a nice combination. Gracie backs away looking to recover.
Gracie throws a left and a right that both miss

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kolari, as that shot connected.

Gracie drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Kolari drops back looking for a leg! Gracie is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gracie manages to kick Kolari off! Kolari jumps back into Gracie's guard.
Gracie wants to stand but Kolari is controlling the position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kolari is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gracie knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kolari stalling away here and it's allowed Gracie to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
Kolari controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kolari seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gracie does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Kolari is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gracie is just riding it out for now. Kolari eventually gives up the hold.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Sami Kolari overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Kolari swings around for an armbar but Gracie sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kolari's guard.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kolari sprawls well. Kolari wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet.

Kolari quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Gracie has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Kolari celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
