PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Nickerson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anabolinen Steroidi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nickerson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I Stand Alone. Steroidi has chosen Michael Jackson - Billie Jean as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nickerson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Nickerson throws a series of punches but Steroidi avoids them all with ease.

It looks like Vincent Nickerson has been cut.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Steroidi lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Nickerson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Nickerson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Steroidi closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Steroidi thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Steroidi wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Nickerson, who protects the arm well.

Steroidi is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nickerson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Steroidi in particular looking to stall.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Nickerson throws a right hand that Steroidi ducks under and follows up with a left that Steroidi also avoids with ease.
Steroidi jabs Nickerson right on the nose. Nickerson blinks but takes it well.
Anabolinen Steroidi is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well Steroidi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
