The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Letto lands a slapping body shot.
Letto digs a good body shot into Gold's ribs.
Letto slips a jab and a cross from Gold.
Gold thows a left - swing and a miss!
Letto listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gold doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Gold drops his hands momentarily and Letto takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Gold misses with a few strikes there.
A nice combination there by Letto.
Gold is breathing heavily.

Johnny Gold seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gold drops his hands momentarily. Letto doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Gold staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Gold doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
