Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yuuki Gou and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li gets caught flat footed, as Kerr shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Kerr wants to pass the guard but Li is keeping the position.
Kerr's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Li looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kerr is one step ahead there.
Li really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kerr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kerr trying to control but Li is working from the bottom.
Li wants to get back to his feet but Kerr is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Kerr has gone for a leg lock! Li slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kerr's guard.
Kerr looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Li passes into half guard.

Li thows a huge punch but Kerr dodges it nicely.

Li tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Li thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kerr's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Li is trying to control the action in half guard but Kerr is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Kerr is looking to control Li's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kerr avoid being mounted?
Li prevents Kerr from improving his position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Li scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Li trying to control the position but Kerr is working away.
Kerr manages to work his way to half guard, despite Li's best efforts.

Kerr wants to improve his position but Li is controlling well.
Li is keen to just control but Kerr is a slippery customer.
Kerr throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Kerr makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kerr.
Li wants to control from the top but Kerr keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kerr wants to sweep here but Li controlling him for the moment.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Kerr decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Li looks gassed!

Li is staying active underneath Kerr, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Kerr works his foot free and advances to mount.
Kerr swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
