Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andrew WK (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nelson Muntz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). WK comes to the cage accompanied by I Want Your Face- Andrew WK. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andrew WK!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Nelson Muntz!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muntz misses with a low kick.
Muntz throws a leg kick but WK sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Muntz looks to land a combination but WK avoids it well.
No joy there for Muntz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

WK dodges the punch combination from Muntz.

Muntz takes a swing at WK's ribcage but misses.
WK throws an overhand right that lands on Muntz's shoulder, as Muntz tries to avoid the shot.
Muntz throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Muntz slaps away a takedown attempt from WK, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A jab from WK finds it's way through Muntz's defenses.
WK will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

WK fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Muntz looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Muntz tries to bum rush WK with a series of wild strikes but WK uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
WK lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Muntz throws a combination that misses
and WK counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
WK fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Muntz looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
WK lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Muntz drops his hands momentarily and WK takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

WK shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Muntz's guard.

WK thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Muntz wants to sweep but no luck.
WK lands a couple of digs.

WK has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

WK is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Muntz is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Muntz has escaped and now he's on top!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Muntz postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. WK looks a forlorn figure.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Andrew WK will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

WK is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Muntz to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

WK drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Muntz manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now WK has Muntz in his guard.

WK escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Muntz gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

I would just about give that final round to Nelson Muntz.
I think Muntz has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
