Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shake Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Funaki Fujiwara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones stuffs the takedown.
Jones dodges the punch combination from Fujiwara.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fujiwara is on top in guard.

Jones had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Fujiwara is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jones Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Fujiwara's back instead.

Jones is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Fujiwara knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Fujiwara for a finish.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jones accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Fujiwara working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jones doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jones manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fujiwara escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jones gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fujiwara swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Fujiwara goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Jones is on top in guard.
Jones wants to pass the guard but Fujiwara is keeping the position.

Jones has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Fujiwara to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Jones is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Fujiwara pulls down on the head and he's put Jones to sleep! This one is all over!
