Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andy Sixx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Columbo Gatti and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sixx wants to clinch.
Johnson misses with a looping right.
Johnson shoots for a takedown but Sixx saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Sixx feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Johnson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sixx gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Johnson has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Sixx is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Johnson.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Johnson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sixx is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Johnson, into his guard.

Johnson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sixx is aware though and is defending well.

Sixx decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Johnson, up you get!

Johnson is squirming around, avoiding Sixx's attempts to control the action.

Sixx takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Johnson sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Sixx is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Sixx changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Johnson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
