Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dean Drew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Augusto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Augusto looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Drew looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Drew closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Augusto to the mat! Augusto manages to get full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Drew is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Augusto is just riding it out for now. Drew eventually gives up the hold.

Drew drops back, looking for a kneebar! Augusto looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Augusto looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Augusto!

Augusto tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Augusto has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Augusto fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Drew tries to stand but Augusto is controlling from the bottom.
Drew stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Augusto swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Drew is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Augusto defends it well.
Drew has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Augusto works to full guard.

Augusto is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Drew frees his head nicely. Oh but Augusto has switched to an armbar! Drew is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
