These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wade takes one to the chin there.
Sabbah throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
A nice inside leg kick there by Sabbah. That's going to slow Wade down.
Sabbah lands a high kick!
Sabbah throws a head kick that Wade semi-blocks.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wade misses with a hook.
Sabbah on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

It looks like Hassan i Sabbah has been cut.
Wade tries to clinch there but Sabbah circles away.
Sabbah will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Wade throws a jab when Sabbah was well out of range.
Sabbah connects with a right hand. Wade shakes it off.

Wade closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sabbah to the mat! Sabbah manages to get full guard.
Sabbah pulls Wade in close to prevent any damage.
Wade pushing down on Sabbah's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Wade trying to mount his opponent but Sabbah defends it.

Sabbah makes his way to full guard, as Wade worked for a kimura.
Wade trying to control the position from guard on top but Sabbah is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Wade is looking to work some ground and pound but Sabbah has wrist control.
Wade stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sabbah swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sabbah preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Sabbah pushes Wade off and gets back to his feet.
Sabbah moves out of range as Wade strikes.
Wade checks a leg kick.
Sabbah scores with a crisp jab that stopped Wade in his tracks.
Wade connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Sabbah momentarily.
Sabbah changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Sabbah lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Wade has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Wade and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Sabbah throws a leg kick but Wade sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Sabbah lands a high kick!
Wade shoots in for a takedown but Sabbah shows good takedown defense.
Sabbah throws a head kick but Wade moves out of range.
Hassan i Sabbah seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sabbah scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Wade looks gassed!
Nice straight punches there by Sabbah. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Sabbah.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sabbah throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wade stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hassan i Sabbah is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sabbah throws a head kick that half lands.

It looks like Kane Wade has been cut.
Sabbah cracks the inside of Wade's front leg.
Sabbah scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Sabbah throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Sabbah works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Wade takes a kick to the side of the head.

Wade is rocked!
A big right followed by a crushing left from Sabbah knocks Wade out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
