Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Dempsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tairy Greene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dempsey blocks a low kick nicely.
Greene throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jack Dempsey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dempsey throws a nice looking combination but Greene bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Greene gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Dempsey can't break the clinch.
Dempsey wants to break the clinch but can't.
Greene has Dempsey pressed against the cage.
Greene tries for a takedown. No joy.
Dempsey content to slow the pace in the clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Greene.
Greene goes for a takedown attempt but Dempsey pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Dempsey will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Greene is defended easily by Dempsey.
Jack Dempsey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tairy Greene.
Dempsey rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Greene moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dempsey throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Greene walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Dempsey checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Dempsey throws a lazy right hand but Greene sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Greene closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dempsey to the mat! Dempsey manages to get full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Greene accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Greene stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dempsey swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Dempsey throws a big shot that misses.
Dempsey scores with a one two! Greene had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Dempsey misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dempsey throws a right and a left that Greene avoids nicely.

Greene shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dempsey's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Greene connects with a couple of short punches.

Greene drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Greene jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Dempsey misses with a hook. Greene ducked under it nicely.

Dempsey is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Greene.

Greene lands a shot to the head.
The referee is taking a good look at Dempsey as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Greene!

Tairy Greene showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Greene decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Greene uses his free foot to push down on Dempsey's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Dempsey.
Greene tries to control but Dempsey wriggling away.
Dempsey knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Greene on the ground.
Greene throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Greene looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Dempsey covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
