Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Kellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Bizzel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kellis's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Cypress Hill How I Could Just Kill a Man. Bizzel has chosen Beggin as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lucas Kellis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Bizzel!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bizzel throws a nice looking combination but Kellis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kellis misses with a double jab.
Kellis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bizzel works over Kellis's head and body with a nice combination.
Bizzel feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kellis's calf.
Kellis moves in looking to clinch but Bizzel pushes him off.
Kellis tries a head kick but it misses.
Bizzel throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bizzel throws a nice outside leg kick.
Kellis on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Bizzel. Bizzel obviously looking to wear him down.

Bizzel clinches up with Kellis and pushes him back against the cage.

Bizzel breaks from the clinch.
Kellis is looking to clinch but Bizzel is avoiding it.
Kellis closes the distance looking to clinch

and Bizzel counters by clinching up.

Bizzel lands an elbow inside.
Kellis has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bizzel is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Kellis successfully pulls guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kellis controls Bizzel momentarily but Bizzel frees himself.
Bizzel must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Bizzel is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Bizzel is tying to control. Kellis wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Kellis keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Kellis is refusing to be controlled, as Bizzel sits in half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Despite being in the dominant position, Mike Bizzel just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kellis throws a sloppy head kick and Bizzel moves out of range easily.
Bizzel throws a left and a right that both miss

and Kellis counters with a single leg into guard. Bizzel didn't expect that.
Kellis prevents Bizzel from getting back to his feet.

Kellis won't allow Bizzel to sweep him here.
Kellis slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kellis slips nicely into half guard.
Kellis slips a nice elbow through Bizzel's hands, connecting with Bizzel's forehead.
Bizzel tries to kick Kellis off but Kellis keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Kellis seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bizzel does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Bizzel wants to improve his position but Kellis is controlling well.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Kellis thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Bizzel throws a wild body kick that Kellis sees coming a mile off.
Kellis tries for a takedown but Bizzel circles away easily
and Bizzel counters with a series of strikes. Kellis will be more careful next time no doubt.

Bizzel moves into the clinch.
Bizzel throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kellis blocks it with crossed arms.
Kellis fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lucas Kellis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bizzel tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Bizzel breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kellis fails in his attempt to clinch.
Mike Bizzel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A right-left combo lands from Bizzel.
Kellis with a lazy takedown attempt
and Bizzel counters with a head kick. That will keep Kellis thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Horrible takedown by Kellis or perhaps it was just good defense by Bizzel which made him look bad.

and Kellis counters with a head kick.
Kellis shoots for a takedown but Bizzel saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Bizzel throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kellis takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Kellis is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Bizzel.
Bizzel throws a head kick that misses

and Kellis counters by clinching up.

Bizzel breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kellis swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bizzel looks to land a combination. Kellis sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Bizzel throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Kellis's head.
Bizzel throws a leg kick which misses Kellis's front leg but catches the back leg as Kellis tries to avoid it.
Kellis shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Bizzel counters with a three punch combo that has Kellis backing up. Kellis nods at Bizzel to acknowledge the strikes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lucas Kellis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kellis is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Bizzel is trying to escape and Kellis transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Bizzel is forced to tap! Nice work there by Kellis! Very nice indeed!
