Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Winston Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and brad tavares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Winston Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, brad tavares!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - tavares throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
tavares changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Smith tries to avoid it but tavares manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Smith to the ground. Smith escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Crunch! Smith slams his shin into tavares's torso.
tavares loads up on a big right hand but Smith slips the punch.
tavares throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Smith's waist but Smith gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing tavares off to one side.
Smith gets a takedown into half guard.
Smith is trying to control the action in half guard but tavares is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Smith looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith seems to be working for a kimura but tavares defends the submission attempt.
Smith seems to be looking for submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Smith in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. tavares tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Smith!
