Kroener is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Eisblume - Eisblumen. Sascha Kroener has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Kroener has Brown pulled in close to control his posture.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Brown shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kroener as he jumps to the side.

Kroener shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Brown is trying to defend but Kroener finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
