Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gabe Logan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stanner Bildt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bildt is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Get Buck in Here. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Logan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Logan thumps Bildt with a low kick.
Bildt fails to land the takedown.
Logan moves in looking to clinch but Bildt pushes him off.
Logan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Bildt counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Bildt checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Logan throws a body kick, spinning off balance

and Bildt counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Bildt is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Logan sees it coming and defends easily.

Bildt wants to lay and pray for a moment but Logan keeps working.
Bildt wants to pass to mount but Logan is defending the position.

Bildt seems to be looking for submissions.

Bildt looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Logan is trying to stand up here but Bildt is controlling him well.
Bildt wants to free his trapped foot but Logan is holding on for dear life with his legs.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Bildt misses with a low kick.

and Logan counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Logan wants to stand up but Bildt has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Logan has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Bildt is looking to improve his position but Logan isn't that keen on the idea.

Bildt bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Logan wriggles free and stands up.
Logan throws a wild body kick that Bildt sees coming a mile off.

That was a close round but I would say that Gabe Logan will probably get the nod.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bildt is defended easily by Logan.
Logan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Bildt counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Bildt drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Logan manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bildt has Logan in his guard.
Logan wanted to stand there but Bildt had control of the position.

Bildt escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Logan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Logan wants to stand and escape but instead Bildt has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Bildt is standing up over Logan. Logan looks to escape but Bildt dives into side control.

Bildt is trying to get an arm triangle but Logan is defending well.
Logan wants to get back to his feet but Bildt drags him back down.
Bildt just content to control the position.

Bildt swings around for an armbar but Logan sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Bildt's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Logan tries to free his leg and advance position but Bildt is retaining full guard.

Bildt is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Logan is aware though and is defending well.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Bildt is trying to control the position but Logan postures up.
Logan passes Bildt's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Logan is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Bildt makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bildt.
Bildt keeping moving, preventing Logan from controlling successfully.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Bildt escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Logan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Stanner Bildt showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Logan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bildt slips under a jab from Logan.
Logan looks to clinch

and Bildt counters with a nice double leg into side control. Logan won't be happy with that.
Bildt prevents Logan from escaping the position.

Logan throws Bildt to one side and escapes!
Logan closes the distance but Bildt moves to the side

and Bildt counters with a single leg into guard. Logan didn't expect that.

Bildt stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Logan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bildt is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Logan is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Logan has escaped and now he's on top!
Bildt looking to hit a scissor sweep but Logan is one step ahead there.

Bildt throws his legs up looking for a submission but Logan uses it to pass to side control.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Bildt tries to bench press Logan off him but Logan keeps the position.
Logan content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Logan is looking to take a break and control but Bildt is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Bildt is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Bildt wants to improve his position but Logan is controlling well.
Stanner Bildt has got the better of the ground game so far.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Logan wants to control from the top but Bildt keeps moving.
