Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between mate parlov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Mackenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). parlov comes into the arena with Spit it out blaring out of the sound system. Mackenzie has chosen Candlemass - Bewitched as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
parlov lands with a slapping head kick.
Mackenzie stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from parlov.
Mackenzie shoots in but parlov avoids the takedown attempt easily.
parlov throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
parlov checks a leg kick.
Mackenzie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. parlov defends it nicely.

Mackenzie bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Mackenzie goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now parlov is on top in guard.
Mackenzie has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Mackenzie swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and parlov is now in Mackenzie's guard. A big mistake from Mackenzie there, giving up the dominant position!
