Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Marciano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Davon Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Davon Daniels was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marciano shoots in and bounces Daniels off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Marciano throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Daniels works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Marciano trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Marciano advances to half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Marciano not doing much here.
Daniels is pressing down on Marciano's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Marciano slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Marciano moves into full mount!
Marciano connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

It looks like Davon Daniels has been cut.
Daniels wants to hold on but Marciano pushes him away.
You get the feeling that Daniels really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Daniels tries to lock up and control but Marciano gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Daniels is looking to get to half guard.
Marciano controlling from the full mount.

Marciano has control of Daniels's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Daniels regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
The referee warns Daniels that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Daniels wants to control but Marciano is having none of it.

Daniels is working to get back to half guard.
Daniels holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Marciano tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Marciano moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Daniels has worked his arm free - good work by Daniels!

Daniels sneaks back into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Daniels is trying to maintain the position but Marciano is very close to passing his half guard.
Daniels flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Marciano wants to advance to full mount but Daniels doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Daniels manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Daniels thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Daniels misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Daniels stands up from mount. Strange move.

Daniels dodges the punch combination from Marciano.

Daniels fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Marciano sprawls well initially but Daniels persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Marciano makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Marciano lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
