Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Carl Menger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colby Cauliflower (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Menger might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to General Patton. Carl Menger could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Colby Cauliflower's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Menger fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Menger is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Cauliflower's half guard.
Cauliflower is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Menger is looking to take a break and control but Cauliflower is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Cauliflower really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Menger. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cauliflower wants to improve his position but Menger is controlling well.
Menger is trying to control the action in half guard but Cauliflower is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Menger wants to take a breather but Cauliflower is having none of it.

Menger wants to work for an arm triangle but Cauliflower is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Menger dodges the punch combination from Cauliflower.
A slapping leg kick lands for Menger.
Cauliflower moves forwards but Menger connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Cauliflower looks for a takedown but Menger sprawls well.

Cauliflower changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Menger looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Menger is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Cauliflower off and has taken his back!
