Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between stewie stenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Strongback (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Strongback has chosen See See Rider by Elvis as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. stewie stenson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
stenson shoots in and bounces Strongback off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Strongback keeping full guard, as stenson tries to pass.
stenson wants to stand but Strongback has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
stenson stopping the sweep attempt from Strongback.
stenson trying to control but Strongback is working from the bottom.
stenson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Strongback is proving hard to escape from.
Strongback looking for submissions from the bottom but instead stenson passes into half guard.

stenson is trying to control the action in half guard but Strongback is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Strongback misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Strongback is looking to stand up but stenson isn't so interested in that idea.
Strongback keeping moving, preventing stenson from controlling successfully.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
stenson gets to his feet - Strongback follows without any prompting.
Strongback walks into a jab.
Strongback has his takedown stuffed
and stenson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
stenson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
stenson digs a good body shot into Strongback's ribs.
stenson is looking to clinch.
stenson tries for a takedown but Strongback circles away easily
and Strongback decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in stenson's guard.

stenson pulls Strongback in close to prevent any damage.
stenson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
stenson wants to stand but Strongback is controlling the position.
stenson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
stenson is breathing heavily.
stenson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Strongback controls the pace.
stenson working for submissions but it's allowed Strongback to get to half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
stenson trying to hold on to Strongback's head to control him but Strongback postures up.
stenson has a hand on Strongback's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Strongback takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
stenson is trying desperately to improve position.
stenson wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
stenson is trying to break free.
stenson is working hard here to advance position.
stenson rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that stewie stenson will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Strongback throws a combination that misses
and stenson counters with a shoot takedown. Strongback fights it but they end up in guard.

stenson wants to pass the guard but Strongback is keeping the position.
Strongback working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. stenson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Strongback is tightening it up a little... stenson has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! stenson reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! stenson taps out! nice BJJ there by Strongback!
