Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by l or perhaps it was just good defense by Boyer which made him look bad.
Boyer slaps away a takedown attempt from l, before circling back to the center of the mat.

l is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Boyer's half guard.
Boyer tries to kick l off but l keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
l not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
l could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Boyer pushes l off looking to stand but l dives back in and keeps control.
Boyer regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from l.

Boyer uses the cage to get back to his feet.
l l seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boyer defends well against a solid takedown attempt from l.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for l l. That's going to take a lot out of him.
l tries to close the distance and clinch but Boyer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
l closes this distance looking for a takedown but Boyer circles away.
Boyer defends well against a solid takedown attempt from l.
l misses with a double jab.
l is breathing heavily.
l looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Boyer is fending him off so far but l persists. Nope, Boyer circles away and we're back to standing.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Boyer!
l fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Boyer lands a nice leg kick that just misses l's sensitive parts.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
l has a takedown stuffed.

Boyer lands a left and a right that send l crashing to the mat, dazed. Boyer thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Boyer lands with a right and another and another! l is in big trouble! Boyer lands again and this time it's lights out for l! A quality knockout there for Boyer.
