The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dow shoots in looking for a takedown. Leben tries to sprawl out of it but Dow keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Leben manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dow looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Leben throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Dow's head.
It looks like John Dow has been cut.
Dow is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Leben.
Leben throws a combination. Dow tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Leben throws a sloppy head kick and Dow moves out of range easily.
Leben connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Dow to the floor! Leben dives in looking for the finish!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Dow wants to get back to full guard.
Leben lands strikes from half guard.
Dow is rocked!
John Dow's cut is getting worse.
Leben sitting in half guard here. He lands a big elbow that has hurt Dow! Oh, Dow is in big trouble! Leben lands more strikes and the ref dives in to save him! The fight is over!
