Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Dred with that takedown attempt.
Dred throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dred off to one side.
Dred shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense.
Mike Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jude Dred.

Dred has Jones pulled in close to control his posture.
Jones looking to sit in guard and control but Dred gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Jones moves into range and clinches up with Dred.
Dred goes for a takedown in the clinch but Jones prevents it.

Dred wants to pass the guard but Jones is keeping the position.
Jones wants to stand and escape but Dred is having none of it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dred wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.

Dred dives in and grabs Jones's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes down on Dred's head and hops out.
Jones lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Dred at a distance.

Jones clinches up against the ropes.

Jones breaks from the clinch.

Dred closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jones is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Dred's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Dred is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Jones gets full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Jones lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Dred!
Jones misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Jones fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dred, pushing him back against the ropes.

Dred misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Jones gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Dred is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Dred goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Jones rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Dred's guard! Nice work there by Jones!

Jones wants to control from the top but Dred keeps moving.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Jones here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Dred has his hands on Jones's head, controlling the position.

Jones throws and elbow that misses. Dred uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jones's guard. Nice move by Dred!

I would just about give that final round to Jude Dred.
I think Jones has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
