Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ezekial Sallad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinn Marion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marion comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Jay-Z - Welcome to New York City kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Quinn Marion will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Russell Pearce and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sallad throws a body punch but Marion moves out of range.
Marion closes the distance and clinches up with Sallad, looking for a takedown. Marion pushes Sallad against the cage but Sallad circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Sallad misses with a straight right.
A combination from Sallad does no damage.
Sallad slaps away a takedown attempt from Marion, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Marion shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sallad but Sallad pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Marion tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sallad swivels and escapes.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
No joy there for Sallad, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Marion is trying to stick to Sallad's back but Sallad is turning into Marion. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Marion's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Sallad.

Ezekial Sallad overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Sallad has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Marion is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Sallad.

Marion drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sallad looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sallad looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sallad!
