Rodriguez has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Bender Rodriguez is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Benoit throws a jab but it's blocked by Rodriguez.

Rodriguez is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Benoit misses with a looping left.

Benoit lands a nice hook to Rodriguez's body. Rodriguez takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Benoit jabs Rodriguez right on the nose. Rodriguez blinks but takes it well.
Good leg kick by Benoit there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Benoit throws a hook but Rodriguez blocks it.
Benoit tries a low kick but Rodriguez avoids it.
Benoit cracks Rodriguez with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Rodriguez falls to his knees and Benoit doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
