The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice jab there from Xu.

It looks like Janu Haperenu has been cut.
Haperenu looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Xu tries to clinch up but Haperenu circles away and keeps his distance.
Haperenu shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Xu as he jumps to the side.
Xu getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Horrible takedown by Haperenu or perhaps it was just good defense by Xu which made him look bad.
Haperenu misses with a head kick.
A head kick misses from Haperenu.
Xu tries to clinch but Haperenu moves out of range.
Haperenu closes this distance looking for a takedown but Xu circles away.
Ham Xu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Janu Haperenu.

Xu lands a big shot that drops Haperenu! Can he finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Xu wants to stand but Haperenu is controlling his posture from full guard.

Xu decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Haperenu, up you get!
Haperenu throws a head kick that Xu semi-blocks.
Xu dances in with a quick combination. Haperenu is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Xu snaps Haperenu's head back. Haperenu stumbles backwards against the cage. Xu steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Haperenu's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Haperenu just didn't come prepared.
