Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucci Zester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonny Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lucci Zester has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lucci Zester!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jonny Walker!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zester gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Walker stops Zester from standing up.
Walker postures up.
Zester can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Walker controls the pace.
Zester really is a fat lump.
Zester trying to keep a closed guard but Walker is proving a slippery customer.
Walker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Walker preventing the sweep.
Walker loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Walker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zester. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Zester shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Walker holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Zester tries to pull guard but Walker won't allow it.
Zester trying to land knees to the body.
Zester tries to break free but Walker pushes him back against the cage.

Walker pulls guard effortlessly.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Walker wants to stand up but Zester is controlling him.
Zester trying to control the position from guard on top but Walker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Zester throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Zester controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Zester looking to sit in guard and control but Walker gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Zester wants to stand up but Walker is controlling him.
Zester keeping moving, preventing Walker from controlling successfully.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Walker misses with a jab, cross combination.
Zester darts in trying to clinch

so Walker counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Walker looks gassed!

Zester looking to hit a scissor sweep but Walker is one step ahead there.

Zester is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Walker is aware though and is defending well.

Walker is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Zester is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Zester throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Zester avoids the head kick by Walker.
Zester throws a sloppy head kick and Walker moves out of range easily.
Zester misses with a takedown

and Walker counters by moving into the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lucci Zester. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Walker breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Zester throws a front kick aimed at Walker's knee but Walker avoids it well.
Zester shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Walker decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Zester's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jonny Walker dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Walker closes the distance and clinches.
Stalling in the clinch from Walker.
Zester tries a body shot but Walker blocks it.

Walker pulls guard successfully.
Zester stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Walker swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Zester trying to stand up but can't free himself from Walker's guard.
Zester throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zester with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Walker is breathing heavily.
Walker looking to control.
Zester will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Walker is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Zester looking to pass the guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Zester gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Walker counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Zester's guard now.
Zester is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Walker is pushing down on Zester's leg trying to pass to half guard. Zester is fighting to maintain full guard but Walker has managed to sneak the leg through.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zester wants to get back to full guard.

Zester is trying to maintain the position but Walker is very close to passing his half guard.
Zester is looking to improve his position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

and Walker counters with a single leg into guard. Zester didn't expect that.

Zester controls Walker momentarily but Walker frees himself.
Walker passes into half guard.
Walker wants to get back to his feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Zester is looking for a triangle but Walker pushes his legs off easily.
Zester is trying to control the position but Walker postures up.
Walker trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Zester throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Zester had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Walker defends it easily.
Walker stays in close to Zester's body and controls the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jonny Walker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Zester utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Zester is trying to control the position but Walker postures up.

Walker takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Zester is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

and Walker counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Walker.

Zester is looking to stand up but Walker isn't so interested in that idea.
Zester not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Walker looking to sit in guard and control but Zester gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Walker can't keep his opponent in guard - Zester advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Walker is trying to maintain the position but Zester is very close to passing his half guard.
Zester is looking to advance position but Walker won't allow it.

Zester thows a huge punch but Walker dodges it nicely.
It looks like Zester is going to stand back up.
Zester seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Walker does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Walker is looking for a sweep. Zester is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Walker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Walker is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Zester's half guard.
Zester is trying to control but can't.

Walker looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Zester trying to hold on to Walker's head to control him but Walker postures up.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jonny Walker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Walker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
