PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raw Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Lindenmayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raw Power!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bryan Lindenmayer!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Power ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Power avoids the head kick by Lindenmayer.
Lindenmayer throws a sloppy head kick and Power moves out of range easily.
Lindenmayer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Power manages to avoid it.

Lindenmayer gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Power stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lindenmayer swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Power is working hard here to advance position.
Power is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Power controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Power lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Power keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Lindenmayer's head.
Lindenmayer keeping moving, preventing Power from controlling successfully.
Power pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lindenmayer is keeping the position for now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Power wants to control from the top but Lindenmayer keeps moving.
Lindenmayer controls Power momentarily but Power frees himself.
Lindenmayer looking for a sweep. Not yet Lindenmayer, not yet.
Power controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Power has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Lindenmayer wants to stand and escape but Power is having none of it.
Lindenmayer can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Power controls the pace.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Lindenmayer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Power moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Power attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Lindenmayer doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Power decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lindenmayer's guard.
Power makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Lindenmayer is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Power chips away with some ground and pound.
Lindenmayer avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Lindenmayer wants to stand up but Power is controlling him.
Lindenmayer looks gassed!
Lindenmayer can't keep his opponent in guard - Power advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Lindenmayer wants to get back to his feet.
Power is pressing down on Lindenmayer's thigh, looking to free his foot. Lindenmayer is holding on for now.
Lindenmayer has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Power is working away from the top position though.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Power passes to full mount!
Power landing strikes from the mount and Lindenmayer is in trouble!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Power won't let Lindenmayer get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Lindenmayer tries to hold on but Power pushes him away.
Lindenmayer is in a horrible position here. Power smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Power lands with some strikes.
BOOM! Power connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Power landing strikes from the mount and Lindenmayer is in trouble!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lindenmayer wants to try and get back to his feet.
Power with the ground and pound from mount.
Power loads up with a big shot that hurts Lindenmayer! He's pulled Power in close but Power has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Lindenmayer survive? More strikes from Power and Lindenmayer is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
