Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bimbo Slide (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fox comes to the cage accompanied by Cant Be Touched by Roy Jones Jr.. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Alexandre Firmino and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fox throws a series of punches but Slide moves out of range.
Slide fails with an attempt to clinch.
Slide misses with a double jab
and Fox counters with a crisp one two that drops Slide! Fox thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Slide to his feet! Slide is in big trouble!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Slide throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Fox slips a jab and a cross from Slide.
Slide throws a left and a right that both miss
and Fox counters by moving into the clinch.
Nice elbow from Slide.
It looks like Brian Fox has been cut.
Slide misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Fox.
Slide pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Slide lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fox circles away quickly and effectively.

and Fox counters with a body kick.

Fox tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Slide is able to avoid easily.

Slide closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Bimbo Slide.
Fox throws out a loose jab but Slide uses good head movement to avoid it.
Slide shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Fox is trying to stand back up but Slide is controlling him
Still in half guard, Slide seems content to control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Slide thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Fox throws a hook but Slide blocks it.
Fox misses with a jab, cross combination.
Slide walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Fox checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Bimbo Slide seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fox misses with a straight left.
Slide throws a left and a right that both miss
and Fox connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Bimbo Slide has been cut.

Fox throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Slide counters with a takedown into side control.
Slide wants to control but Fox is keeping him busy.
Slide prevents Fox from escaping the position.
Slide tries to move into full mount but can't pass Fox's legs.
Fox bucks up and tries to throw Slide off but instead Slide has got his back!
A bit of a pause in the action here. Slide controlling the positon.
Fox holding both Slide 's hands and preventing any damage.

Slide scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Fox wants to get back to his feet.
Fox tries to break free.
I would not like to be Fox right now.

Slide is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Fox knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Fox for a finish.
Slide missing with strikes.
Slide struggling to keep hold of the position.
Fox wants to escape the position.
Slide is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Fox is really stuck here.
Fox trying to control the action but Slide just sinks the hooks in.

Oooh a big shot gets through from Slide. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

Bimbo Slide showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Nice straight punches there by Slide. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Slide.

and Slide counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Slide dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Fox. That did some damage!
Fox throws a head kick that misses
and Slide counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Slide is trying to control. Fox wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Slide works his way into side control.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Slide tries to move to mount but Fox blocks the move with his legs.
Slide stands up.
Slide tries to bum rush Fox with a series of wild strikes but Fox uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Slide throws a shot from downtown. Fox moves away and avoids it.
A low kick from Fox misses
and Slide counters with a nice leg kick.
Slide's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Slide duly obliges.
Fox circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fox connects with a body shot.
Good leg kick by Slide there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Slide misses with the combination.
Fox clobbers Slide with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Fox uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Slide.
Slide slips a jab and a cross from Fox.
Slide will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A combination from Slide does no damage.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Slide misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fox misses with a jab, cross combination.
Fox tries to close the distance and clinch but Slide swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Slide closes the distance looking to clinch
and Fox finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
And that's the end of the fight!
Bimbo Slide comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Slide has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
