Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shaun Sunny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jared Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Richards has chosen I give you bass as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards moves in looking to clinch but Sunny pushes him off.
Sunny shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Richards tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sunny swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Sunny shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Richards napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Richards is pushing Sunny's head away, looking to escape. Sunny manages to hold on to the position though.

Sunny tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sunny has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Richards can do anything to dispel that myth.

Richards changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sunny tries to avoid it but Richards manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sunny to the ground. Sunny escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
