The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dickerson moves into range and clinches up with Hormann.
Hormann has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Dickerson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Dickerson gets through Hormann's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

It looks like Alfons Hormann has been cut.

Dickerson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hormann.
Dick Dickerson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hormann gets the takedown into side control.
Dickerson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dickerson tries to get out of the position.

Hormann is working to tighten is grip on Dickerson's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Dickerson has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hormann is really squeezing tight and eventually Dickerson passes out! Hormann breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
