Silva lets loose with a powerful body kick. Vasquez will feel that in the morning.

Silva drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva advances to half guard.
Silva passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Vasquez!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vasquez is trying to escape the mount but Silva keeps good control and instead manages to take Vasquez's back.
Silva wants to control but Vasquez is keeping busy.
Silva is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Vasquez is tapping out! This one is all over!
