Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vincenzo Calliente (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rome Terrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vincenzo Calliente looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Calliente drives through with a takedown into guard.
Terrell pulls Calliente in close to prevent any damage.

Calliente knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Terrell on the ground.

Calliente drops back, looking for a kneebar! Terrell looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Terrell looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Terrell!

Terrell has hold of Calliente's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Calliente manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Despite being in the dominant position, Rome Terrell just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Calliente tries to bum rush Terrell with a series of wild strikes but Terrell uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
The fight stays on the outside here - Terrell looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Terrell is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
