Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clay French (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Dover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
French shoots in looking for a takedown but Dover manages to keep the fight standing, pushing French's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Dover explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

French ducks under a wild hook from Dover.

French closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Dover tries to bench press French off him but French keeps the position.

French wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dover, who protects the arm well.

French is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dover is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

French has an Americana. Dover didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! French is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if French hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
