Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maksim Yergov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanibal Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yergov darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Yergov is looking for a kimura but Kane is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Yergov to get the leverage.

Yergov goes for an armbar but Kane turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Kane.

Yergov takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Yergov has hold of Kane's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kane manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Yergov has control of Kane's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kane regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Kane really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yergov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
