Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aoki gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Warrior to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Warrior is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Aoki is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Aoki has escaped and now he's on top!

Aoki drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Warrior manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Aoki has Warrior in his guard.
Warrior is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Warrior stands up and waves to Aoki to follow him.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Warrior stops a takedown attempt from Aoki.
Knees in the clinch landing for Warrior.

Warrior pulls guard effortlessly.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Warrior is looking for a triangle but Aoki pushes his legs off easily.
Warrior manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Aoki is working to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Warrior landing strikes, looking to finish!
Warrior tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Warrior lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Aoki with a poor takedown

and Warrior moves into the clinch.
Aoki has Warrior pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Warrior manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Warrior pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Warrior is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Warrior lands a knee to the body.
Aoki is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Warrior pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Warrior manages to break the clinch.

Aoki gets caught flat footed, as Warrior shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Warrior stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Aoki throws up his legs and catches Warrior in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Warrior tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Aoki! That came out of nowhere!
