Yoon Sik has chosen Victory Korea as his entrance music. Lee Yoon Sik has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Rock Hardmeat's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoon Sik fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hardmeat dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Yoon Sik. That did some damage!
Hardmeat throws a low kick but it's checked well by Yoon Sik.
Hardmeat throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A bone on bone clash there as Hardmeat blocks the leg kick.

Hardmeat shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Yoon Sik is trying to defend but Hardmeat finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Hardmeat has control of Yoon Sik's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Yoon Sik regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Hardmeat has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hardmeat lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hardmeat seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Yoon Sik for as long as he can get away with.
Hardmeat has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
