Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brian Hickson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samart Payakaroon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Payakaroon has chosen FrOm The deepest corner MiTh as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Payakaroon pivots, looking for a leg kick but Hickson is out of range and Payakaroon settles back down.
Payakaroon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hickson's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Hickson duly obliges.

It looks like Samart Payakaroon has been cut.
Payakaroon moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Payakaroon throws a combination that misses
and Hickson counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Payakaroon is lucky that one didn't land flush.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Payakaroon tries to clinch but Hickson moves away
and Hickson counters with a left and a right that stings Payakaroon.

Payakaroon is rocked!
Hickson dances in with a quick combination. Payakaroon is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Hickson snaps Payakaroon's head back. Payakaroon stumbles backwards against the cage. Hickson steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Payakaroon's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Payakaroon just didn't come prepared.
