With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Scott Marshall!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Andrews as Marshall shoots in.

Andrews is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Marshall is surviving well by controlling Andrews's body position as best he can.

Andrews swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Marshall is now in Andrews's guard. A big mistake from Andrews there, giving up the dominant position!

Andrews manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Marshall manages to get himself to full guard.

Marshall is looking for a triangle but Andrews pushes his legs off easily.

Andrews might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
No luck for Marshall with that takedown attempt.

Andrews closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Andrews lands in his opponent's guard.

Andrews is looking for a kimura but Marshall is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Andrews to get the leverage.
Marshall won't allow Andrews to pass to mount.

Marshall is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Marshall prevents Andrews from standing back up.
Andrews is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Marshall's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Marshall's back!

Andrews is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Andrews is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Marshall has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Andrews has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Marshall taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Andrews doesn't care though - he's delighted!
