Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Henry Homes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Galen Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has chosen Why Won't He Break as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Homes displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

Homes feints and as Jones raises his hands in defense, Homes changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jones pulls Homes in close to his closed guard and prevents Homes from doing any damage or advancing position.
Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Homes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jones looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Homes has picked Jones up and slammed him! Jones can't keep hold of the triangle and Homes manages to pass to side control!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Homes tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jones swivels and escapes.
Jones keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
