Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Cartman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haka Maka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maka is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Island Music. Daniel Cartman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniel Cartman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Haka Maka!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartman throws a half hearted mid kick.
Daniel Cartman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cartman shoots in and drives through. Maka sprawls well.
Cartman throws the left hand but Maka avoids the punch easily.
Maka feints and then cracks Cartman's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Cartman down.
Maka misses with a jab, cross combination.
Cartman dodges the punch combination from Maka.
Maka circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cartman fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Maka manages to avoid it.
Cartman throws the kick towards the body but Maka avoids it.
Maka ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Maka closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Maka wants to control but Cartman is keeping him busy.
Maka decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Cartman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Maka swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Maka feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Maka controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Maka wants to control from the top but Cartman keeps moving.
Maka gets to his feet. Cartman looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Maka rushes Cartman and presses him up against the cage.
Maka breaks from the clinch.
A punch combination from Maka misses.
Cartman with a lazy takedown attempt
and Maka counters by clinching up.
Maka takes a shot to the head.
Maka drops down looking for an ankle pick but Cartman pulls his leg out and moves away.
Cartman tries for a takedown but Maka circles away easily
and Maka counters with a nice double leg into guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Cartman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cartman is breathing heavily.
Cartman working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Maka.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Maka wants to control from the top but Cartman keeps moving.
Maka postures up in Cartman's guard and throws a big left but Cartman blocks it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Maka postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Maka content to stall in guard here.
Cartman avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Maka drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Maka seems to have locked his on tight now - Cartman screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Maka, as he picks up the win!
