The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duran slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Duran misses with a double jab.
Nice sprawl there from Duran as Serra shoots in.

Serra has managed to clinch.
Duran is pressed up against the ropes. Serra has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Duran down to the mat. Duran avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Duran misses with a jab, cross combination.
Serra fails to land with a series of punches.
Serra shoots in for a takedown but Duran shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matts Serra. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Serra has control of Duran's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Duran regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Serra throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Duran has his hands clasped together but Serra breaks the hold and Duran is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Serra!
