Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Woods (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vikram Bhular (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David Woods had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bhular throws a right hand that Woods ducks under and follows up with a left that Woods also avoids with ease.
Woods looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Bhular tries to bum rush Woods with a series of wild strikes but Woods uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Woods fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bhular throws a head kick but Woods moves out of range.
Woods circles away from the clinch attempt

and Woods counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Bhular looks like he's trying to stand up.
Bhular won't allow Woods to pass to mount.

Woods is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bhular doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Woods.
Woods is breathing heavily.
Woods passes to side control.
Bhular is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Woods has just dragged him back down to the mat.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Woods looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Bhular prevents Woods from improving position.
Bhular tries to escape but Woods is in control.

Woods is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bhular is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Woods has hold of Bhular's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Bhular seems comfortable defending it but Woods has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Bhular is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Bhular is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Woods couldn't care less - he's delighted!
