Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Ballinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Brock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ballinger comes to the cage accompanied by A Scottish Soldier by Andy Stewart. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryan Ballinger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eddie Brock!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, John Kavanagh and Lou da Vinci.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brock misses with a takedown attempt - Ballinger sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ballinger lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Brock circles away quickly and effectively.
Brock avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ballinger moves in looking to clinch but Brock pushes him off.
Ryan Ballinger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brock misses with a jab, cross combination.
Brock closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ballinger circles away.
Ballinger will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Ballinger lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Ballinger fails with an attempt to clinch.
Brock misses with a jab, cross combination.

Ryan Ballinger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eddie Brock.
Brock closes the distance but Ballinger moves to the side
and Ballinger counters with a one-two to the body.
Ballinger throws a left and a right that both miss

and Brock counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Ballinger's guard now.

Ballinger manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Brock tries to lock up and control but Ballinger gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Ballinger throwing shots but Brock is blocking nicely.
Brock really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ballinger. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ballinger misses with a few strikes there.

Brock shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ballinger napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Brock in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Ballinger is not content to let Brock control the position.
Brock looks gassed!
Brock in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Ballinger is looking for a sweep.

Brock trying to control the position but Ballinger is working away.
Ballinger avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Brock.
Brock cracks Ballinger with a big right hand but Ballinger just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Ballinger gets back to half guard.
Brock throws a strike but Ballinger avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Brock throws and elbow that misses. Ballinger uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Brock's guard. Nice move by Ballinger!

Ballinger stands up over Brock, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Brock is looking to stand up but Ballinger isn't so interested in that idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brock avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Ballinger lands a couple of digs.
Ballinger stands up over Brock, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Ballinger with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ballinger is looking to work some ground and pound but Brock has wrist control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Brock can do anything to dispel that myth.
Ballinger is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Ballinger postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A slow jab from Ballinger misses its intended target.

Brock feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Brock gets to his feet - Ballinger follows without any prompting.

Nice body punch from Ballinger - that landed with a thud.
Brock fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Ballinger moves into the clinch successfully.

Brock breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Brock shoots in but no luck this time.
Brock is breathing heavily.
Brock slips a jab and a cross from Ballinger.

Brock tries for a takedown but Ballinger sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Ballinger instigates a clinch.
Ballinger throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Brocks head.
Ballinger lands a left hand.
Ballinger lands with a light punch inside.

Brock is rocked!
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ballinger creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Brock is still on wobbly legs! Can Ballinger finish him?
Ballinger dips a shoulder and cracks Brock with a mighty uppercut! Brock falls back against the cage and Ballinger unloads with a barrage of strikes! Brock is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Ballinger screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
